Acquisition
We source prototypes through community submissions, private collectors, and verified leads. Each item undergoes a provenance check to confirm authenticity and ownership history.
Imaging
Media is imaged using specialized hardware like KryoFlux or Redump-compliant drives. Multiple passes ensure bit-perfect dumps, with checksums computed for integrity verification.
Verification
Dumps are cross-checked against known hashes and developer metadata. We use forensic tools to validate data integrity and confirm the prototype’s authenticity.
Restoration
Non-destructive techniques repair corrupted data, rebuild filesystems, and recover assets. We use historical SDKs and toolchains to ensure reproducible builds.
Documentation
We create detailed reports, including changelogs, build differences, screenshots, and developer notes, published in a research-friendly format for public access.
Archiving
Preserved data is stored redundantly across secure, offline, and cloud-based systems, with regular integrity checks to prevent data loss.
